How to create packages? A tutorial with Moonmoon. « La Distribution Blog

<blockquote>
<p>Distributing a new or existing web application on La Distribution is really easy. All we have to do is to embed the application in what we call a package. As of today, La Distribution can theoretically support all PHP web applications, this mean there is tons of potential applications to package.</p>
<p>Moonmoon logoIn this tutorial we’re going to package Moonmoon a PHP based PlanetPlanet clone. It’s relatively simple, it’s representative of a typical web application, and better, it’s from my friend Maurice! Frankly, I had no clue if the packaging was possible before starting writing this tutorial, so let’s cross our fingers.</p>
</blockquote>

<p>Sympa ce tutoriel !</p>

MarshalSandler.com » Gotham Gal-Etiquette

It is no secret Gotham Gal is one of my favorites and is a top content creator ! I once posted a comment on her husband’s web site that I still took notes on Crain StationaryWith A Quill pen ! http://www.crane.com/

My mother was very well educated and in our house Etiquette was king ! We had beautiful Crane Note paper and I still remember even though I was born in 1936-having to write hundreds of thank you note’s to people who attended my Bar Mitzvah ! I of course used a Parker 51 Fountain Pen that I got as a gift ! When I turned 21 I had my own Crain Stationary that was blind embossed with a simple line in the left hand column and the store where I bought it had to register the embossing ! The stationary got me a lot of response from politicians and other people I wrote , they must have thought I was important ! Presentation is a very important element in any communcation ! I was always jealous of my Friends who attented Catholic School since their penmanship was a work of art ! They had the Palmer method applied to their fingers with a ruler !

I didn’t meet the ruler method until I went Hebrew School ! I went to Detroit Country Day School for grades 1-12 and there was a lot of pressure applied to read and write ! Steve Ballmer also graduated from that School a long time after me and I know dam well it gave him an excellent base for a career ! Most of the people at that school were Harvard Bound since the headmaster F Alden Shaw was a Harvard graduate ! Me I went to the University of Miami and majored in what they call today Communication, with a minor in Statistics and it was the fifties so we all got 5th Degree Black Belts in Rum Drinking on a beautiful island 90 mies from Miami - Viva Ritmo Latino ! A good education will help you understand the Human Condition a long with a few wacks from a good Psychiatrist ! Both these elements temper your ego and make sure you are not a snob ! The internet is young and I have found a lot of people who created content that is presented with good taste aimed at all of the US The Unwashed ! I strongly resent the critics on the internet who have no backround liberal arts critisizing others ! Teche’s are the worst at this since usually they have technical degress and have never learned to communicate with anything other than a machine !

My people communicators are Seth Godin- Davie Winer- Chris Brogan-ShelIsrael-Bill Israel-Andrew Badera-Frank Eliason-Guy Kawasaki -Fred Wilson-Gotham Gal and many more !

Funky Routing - OptionC

This has been tested on Xen 2.0.7-1 with Shorewall 3.0.3-1. This Howto presupposes you already have a base Xen install. If not, and you are unfamiliar with Xen, then you probably want to start with the Xen_Debian_Quick_Start. If you do have such a system and you used the default, networking should be running relatively seemlessly. These configurations are only if you want to switch to routed networking (and have a bit more control). There is nothing particularly funky about them, but I haven't had a chance to change it, and that was the first thing that came off of my fingers when I created this page

Here's the video review for the new Wacom Cintiq 12WX, a tablet that allows you to draw directly on the screen with extreme precision, great feel and amazing results (even with butter fingers like mine). The Cintiq 12WX is probably the best peripheral I have ever tried. If you are not a professional illustrator or photographer, you may want to get one. If you are pro, however, you will be wondering why have you been waiting for so long for this 12" wonder.

leafar: That's amazing ! La fin du clavier

Keyboards are inefficient for two reasons: they do not exploit the redundancy in normal language; and they waste the fine analogue capabilities of the user's motor system (fingers and eyes, for example). I describe a system intended to rectify both these inefficiencies. Dasher is a text-entry system in which a language model plays an integral role, and it's driven by continuous gestures. Users can achieve single-finger writing speeds of 35 words per minute and hands-free writing speeds of 25 words per minute. Dasher is free software, and it works in all languages, and on many platforms. Dasher is part of Debian, and there's even a little java version for your web-browser.
