While our directory is full of fantastic themes, sometimes people want to use something that they know has support behind it, and don't mind paying for that. Contrary to popular belief, GPL doesn't say that everything must be zero-cost, just that when you receive the software or theme that it not restrict your freedoms in how you use it. With that in mind, here are a collection of folks who provide GPL themes with extra paid services available around them. Some of them you may pay for access, some of them are membership sites, some may give you the theme for zero-cost and just charge for support. What they all have in common is people behind them who support open source, WordPress, and its GPL license.

]]>To base64 encode an image for your button, determine or create your image. Then use this page to encode your image. Copy the result into the image element of your XML document. If you have an RSS or Atom feed, insert the URL of your feed into the feed element. Save your document with an .xml extension (we used updated_button.xml). Copy the XML file to the root of your website directory. It's ready to go! Now, just add the below link to your site, where ever you choose and when people click it, they will get your button added onto their Google toolbar: http://toolbar.google.com/buttons/add?url=http://www.yourwebsite.com/yourbuttonxmlfile.xml Replace the url= with the fully qualified public url to your xml file. If someone clicks the link and doesn't already have the correct version of Google Toolbar installed, they will be prompted to install the correct toolbar.

Il en résulte une boîte à outils géante pour le développeur. Le service est plutôt bien présenté. Les éléments sont visualisables par catégories. Il est également possible d’effectuer des recherches sur un sujet/outil particulier. Un navigateur moderne (Firefox 3.5, Safari 4, Chrome 2, ou Opera 9) avec le support de l’élément canvas est requis pour visualiser le site. La version HTML pour ceux qui ne disposerais pas d’un tel navigateur. Certes bien pensé, ce service manque de contenu à l’heure actuelle…
