<blockquote><p>Although this is an absolutely free trial, Safari Books Online does require that you enter credit card information for security purposes. We will authenticate your card at the beginning of your trial period to determine if the card number is valid. We do this by issuing a "dummy" $1 charge. This charge is never actually applied to your credit card because it disappears as soon as we verify the authenticity of the card. Occasionally, depending on how your bank or credit card issuer handles these types of tests, customers may see this charge in their account, but it always drops off. If your free trial period ends and you have not cancelled your account, you are authorizing us to automatically charge your card the monthly fee (plus any applicable taxes) for the subscription type you have chosen.</p></blockquote>

Bugs Everywhere

Bugs Everywhere is a “distributed bugtracker”, designed to complement distributed revision control systems. By using distributed revision control as a backend for bug state, we gain several convenient features:

    * Bugs and code that live on branches are tracked together—when a branch is merged, both the code changes and bug changes that the branch contains are merged alongside each other. We no longer have to be confused about whether a fix that is applied to the development branch but not yet present in the production branch means that our bug is “fixed”.
    * Users can fully modify bug state while offline, unlike with many centralized bugtrackers.
    * When a user checks out your source code, she gets the current bug state for free.
    * We can still provide access to a friendly web interface for users—in this model, a web interface becomes just another client that merges with the main repository.

Werner Bischof: In the Court of the Meiji Temple, Tokyo, Japan (59.559.4) | Heilbrunn Timeline of Art History | The Metropolitan Museum of Art

An early member of the Magnum photo agency (he was admitted in 1949), Bischof worked mostly in Asia. His early training in applied art and graphic design imbued him with a keen formal eye, which was consistently in evidence as he worked to document newsworthy events and experiences.
jQuery.ifixpng - png transparency for windows ie versions below 6

plugin designed to fix that problem by applying appropriate filters to user specified elements, while keeping all element tags intact.

Plugin works well with both img elements within the DOM and css properties specified externally.

• It is chainable.

• Unlike some other png hack solutions, it does not replace/hide any of your html tags.

• You can revert applied changes using .iunfixpng().

• Extremely easy to use!
Known limitations
(I don't have solutions for those listed below yet - CSS features that are lost when the fix applied)

• Always defaults to "background-position:top left" and you cannot reposition it.

• Unable to perform "background-repeat:repeat-y" or "background-repeat:repeat-x" on a target.

• For the hack to work your item needs to be visible.

Protocol for Web Description Resources (POWDER): Grouping of Resources

The Protocol for Web Description Resources (POWDER) facilitates the publication of descriptions of multiple resources such as all those available from a Web site. This document describes how sets of IRIs can be defined such that descriptions or other data can be applied to the resources obtained by dereferencing IRIs that are elements of the set. IRI sets are defined as XML elements with relatively loose operational semantics. This is underpinned by the formal semantics of POWDER which include a semantic extension, defined separately. A GRDDL transform is associated with the POWDER namespace that maps the operational to the formal semantics.

It is no secret Gotham Gal is one of my favorites and is a top content creator ! I once posted a comment on her husband’s web site that I still took notes on Crain StationaryWith A Quill pen ! http://www.crane.com/

My mother was very well educated and in our house Etiquette was king ! We had beautiful Crane Note paper and I still remember even though I was born in 1936-having to write hundreds of thank you note’s to people who attended my Bar Mitzvah ! I of course used a Parker 51 Fountain Pen that I got as a gift ! When I turned 21 I had my own Crain Stationary that was blind embossed with a simple line in the left hand column and the store where I bought it had to register the embossing ! The stationary got me a lot of response from politicians and other people I wrote , they must have thought I was important ! Presentation is a very important element in any communcation ! I was always jealous of my Friends who attented Catholic School since their penmanship was a work of art ! They had the Palmer method applied to their fingers with a ruler !

I didn’t meet the ruler method until I went Hebrew School ! I went to Detroit Country Day School for grades 1-12 and there was a lot of pressure applied to read and write ! Steve Ballmer also graduated from that School a long time after me and I know dam well it gave him an excellent base for a career ! Most of the people at that school were Harvard Bound since the headmaster F Alden Shaw was a Harvard graduate ! Me I went to the University of Miami and majored in what they call today Communication, with a minor in Statistics and it was the fifties so we all got 5th Degree Black Belts in Rum Drinking on a beautiful island 90 mies from Miami - Viva Ritmo Latino ! A good education will help you understand the Human Condition a long with a few wacks from a good Psychiatrist ! Both these elements temper your ego and make sure you are not a snob ! The internet is young and I have found a lot of people who created content that is presented with good taste aimed at all of the US The Unwashed ! I strongly resent the critics on the internet who have no backround liberal arts critisizing others ! Teche’s are the worst at this since usually they have technical degress and have never learned to communicate with anything other than a machine !

My people communicators are Seth Godin- Davie Winer- Chris Brogan-ShelIsrael-Bill Israel-Andrew Badera-Frank Eliason-Guy Kawasaki -Fred Wilson-Gotham Gal and many more !
